Requirements Development
CPS Professional Services has enjoyed great success in leading IT planning, development and operations. Our experienced systems engineers follow a systems requirements process, similar to the IEEE STD 1233 IEEE Guide for Developing System Requirements Specification. Senior systems engineers conduct a thorough information-gathering phase, which can include onsite visits, facilitated user needs discovery sessions, questionnaires, surveys and interviews. Once user needs are defined, our systems engineer follow a well-defined requirements decomposition process, leading to documented user requirements, use cases, and functional/performance requirements. Our systems engineers are also experienced in developing business cases, performing cost-benefits analysis, and defining and evaluating alternative implementations.
Application Development
CPS Professional Services leads design teams through the software development lifecycle. Our software development management services include software project management, systems engineering (requirements engineering), business analysis, and software system and integration testing. Logistics & Supply Chain Management
CPS Professional Services subject matter experts are ready to support strategic planning for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Our SMEs work closely with senior management and practitioners to outline and propose strategic planning from an enterprise point of view.
With a special focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Definition Management (PDM), our staff resources develop enterprise-level product lifecycle and product definition policies and processes, establishing business process relationships and technical requirements for combined PLM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives.
