Joining Easter Seals for a great evening of fun and fundraising to support people with disabilities and their families, CPS proudly supports the Bright Stars Campaign, which provides a night of fun and therapeutic recreation for thousands of children, adults and families at a private performance of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

This event raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for much-needed programs and services to support individuals with disabilities or special needs, and their families. By supporting the Bright Stars campaign, CPS shares the wonder and joy of the circus with someone whose everyday obstacles in life might not otherwise allow for such an opportunity, making the night all the more magical.

By contributing to Bright Stars, CPS can provide help, hope and answers for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Maryland, northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. This year's event will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

CPS is a proud sponsor of Easter Seals. Easter Seals Greater Washington-Baltimore Region, a community based organization, has been serving the needs of people with disabilities and other special needs and their families for over 90 years. Easter Seals will bring their direct services and coalition building to bridge the disconnect between military, veteran and community resources through Community OneSource. Services for wounded service members, veterans and mobilized Guard and Reservists, as well as their families, will result in successful community reintegration after military deployments or service through personalized information, navigation, direct care services and follow-up support.

Easter Seals envisions a society that values all people from all generations and will influence a new culture of intergenerational shared sites and programs throughout the nation.

The Inter-Generational Center is part of the family of Easter Seals programs and services across Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Through our programs and services, Easter Seals breaks down barriers of the past and works to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs—and their families—have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. From newborn to the most senior, including Autism to Alzheimer's disease—until there is a cure, there is Easter Seals.
