The first woman to serve as Acting Surgeon General of the United States Army and Commander of the US Army Medical Command, Major General Gale S. Pollock joined the Board of Advisors to CPS Professional Services after 30 years of distinguished service in the US Army.

MG Pollock's past military assignments include serving in leadership and administration supporting the Army Nurse Corps, the Surgeon General for Information Management and Health Policy, Force Management, Martin Army Community Hospital, Strategic Initiatives Command Group for the Army Surgeon General, the Congressional Commission on Service Members and Veterans Transition Assistance, the National Defense University, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Her final military assignment was as Commanding General of Tripler Army Medical Center of the Pacific Regional Medical Command. She was also Lead Agent of TRICARE Pacific.

MG Pollock’s passion is restoration of sight, and she has also served as the Executive Director of the Louis J. Fox Center for Vision Restoration at the University of Pittsburgh.
