Operational Planning and Implementation Services include:
Deployment Strategy - CPS provides a team led by an experienced Program Manager to advise on deployment strategy and policies, while assisting in the implementation and tracking of deployment progress across the organization. CPS conducts deployment as a process to develop a team of continuous performance improvement experts who can routinely execute enterprise level projects to achieve operational excellence. Our experts start by establishing Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) capabilities at the organizational level to eventually support the entire enterprise.
Assessment - After the initial CPI/LSS deployment, CPS conducts an assessment of how well the organizations are progressing in their respective deployments. Our team helps design and execute these assessments which identify the risks and strengths of each organization in its journey towards maturity. Each of these assessment tools are tailored to the most current maturity model in effect.
Organizational Alignment - Organizations are active systems and function best when their components are designed to work together effectively and efficiently. CPS understands that organizational alignment requires compatibility between operational and cultural lanes and uniformity within them.
Policy - Our experts capture the baseline procedures around procurement, finance, human resource, information technology, and training. As a first step, CPS baselines methods for research and documents lines of authority for policy issuance. This work requires researching policies and regulations to ensure the organization develops policy that aligns with Government regulations and uniformly applies to its workforce.
Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) - This regulation will shift the focus of federal agencies from simple accountability of process, to accountability for results. What was accomplished with the money spent? This legislation will emphasize to federal agencies the importance of performance measurement, in addition to performance improvement. There will now be a need to justify a program’s desired outcomes. CPS has systems and processes to help organizations meet GPRA requirements.
