Business Case Planning and Implementation

Business case planning is a documented and objective value-analysis used to oversee benefits, costs, and risks. CPS uses a structured methodology and a documentation procedure to assist in the decision making process by identifying and evaluating alternatives to examine the business impacts and risks, with an emphasis on enterprise-wide outlook.

There are three main elements of Business Case Planning:

  • Assessment - Identifying the problem, objectives, and metrics
  • Process - Directly implement, execute, and report on analytical actions
  • Quality - Completeness of the analysis and outcomes achieved
