VA Awards CATHEXIS Task Order to Support Acquisition Academy
The Department of Veterans Affairs awarded CATHEXIS a 52-month VECTOR task order providing curriculum support to the VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA).
CATHEXIS will provide the program management, strategic planning, and performance measurement support for the VAAA’s Supply Chain Management school, as well as curriculum management, and training services.
“The VA Acquisition Academy sets the standard for federal training,” said Shawn Gundrum, Chief Executive Officer of CATHEXIS. “It is a privilege to be part of the team helping them realize the vision of an innovative, leading-edge academic environment for supply chain.”
The VAAA’s mission is to serve the Veteran, the Federal workforce, and the taxpayer by providing best-in-class training programs to VA and 30 other government agencies. They have trained over 108,000 seats in their five schools: Acquisition Internship, Contracting Professional, Facilities Management, Program Management, and Supply Chain Management.
